There are plain-clothes police officers surrounding a house. As I watch, one of the officers leaves his post to chat to a friend of his that drives by the house. Most of the policemen seem to be friends with the guy, and before long they're all saying hi.
I wander into the house to see why it's been surrounded. I think I'm eating a croissant. A load of my friends are sat down, being held hostage by a man with a Stanley knife.
The police ignoring the situation seems daft, because surely he'll just try to get their attention? I figure that wandering back out again is a bad idea, and one of my friends agrees, that I should sit down for the best.
I was right about the effect on the hostage taker, he takes the Stanley knife to the neck of one of my friends, and kills him. He goes to take me out too.
He moves from behind me, I grab a hold of both of his hands, and manage to get him outside. Nothing special or suave, just sheer force. I plan to get outside and get help.
Trying to keep the Stanley away from my neck, I shout to the police officers to help me.
If even a few of them could hold him, I'd be fine and we'd have him. But they're just milling around pointlessly as I shout for help.
